Lorca Hart

Lorca Hart is a West Coast jazz drummer and educator who grew up in Taos, New Mexico and studied at the California Institute of the Arts under mentors including Albert "Tootie" Heath and Charlie Haden. His career spans performances with renowned artists including Ralph Moore, Freddie Hubbard, Bobby Hutcherson, and Julian Lage, while he leads his own trio and maintains an active teaching presence at institutions including UCLA, California Jazz Conservatory, and SF Jazz.
