Anthony Stanco

Anthony Stanco is a trumpeter, composer, bandleader, and educator from Southeast Michigan who draws from Detroit's rich jazz heritage. A student of Marcus Belgrave and Rodney Whitaker, he leads The Crucial Elements and has served as a cultural ambassador for the U.S. State Department's "American Music Abroad" program, performing in over a dozen countries. He is an Assistant Professor of Jazz Trumpet at Michigan State University.
