Takuya Kuroda

Kobe-born, Brooklyn-based trumpeter and composer Takuya Kuroda is a forward-thinking musician who blends post-bop, neo-soul, hip-hop, and electronica into a distinctive contemporary jazz sound. After studying at Berklee College of Music and The New School in New York, he has established himself as a bandleader and collaborator, recording for labels including Blue Note and Concord.
