Los Angeles-based guitarist Mike Scott is an active performer, composer, and educator who has been integral to the LA jazz scene since the late 1990s. Born in Fukuoka, Japan and raised in Ohio, New Jersey, and Arizona, Scott earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Music Performance from USC and is currently a full-time faculty member at Fullerton College teaching jazz guitar and history.
