JPaul Macklin

Chicago-based guitarist and composer Jack Macklin is a rising star in the modern jazz music scene. He studied at DePaul University and has performed with notable musicians including Matt Ulery, Greg Ward, Joel Frahm, Donny McCaslin, and Dave Douglas. Macklin leads the Jack Macklin Trio and emphasizes improvisation and the lineage of jazz guitar.
