Daveed Behroozi

Pianist and composer Dahveed Behroozi is a Bay Area-based musician whose expansive musical palette ranges from classical composers like Bach and Brahms to 20th-century jazz luminaries and contemporary music. Born in California in 1981, he studied at the Manhattan School of Music under Fred Hersch and Brooklyn College, and is known for his approach to improvisation as a form of composition, creating deeply atmospheric and emotionally expressive work.
