Billie Holiday Project

The Billie Holiday Project is a historically-centered tribute ensemble led by vocalist Stella Heath and pianist/arranger Neil Fontano, featuring Bay Area jazz musicians. The group recreates the intimate atmosphere of 1930s jazz clubs while performing Holiday's most iconic recordings alongside lesser-known gems, interspersed with stories of her life and artistry. Since debuting in 2019, the project has gained recognition for its musical integrity and emotional depth, touring nationally and releasing a debut album in 2026.
