French guitarist Romain Pilon is among Paris's most lauded jazz musicians. He is a founding member of the Paris jazz Underground Collective, which unites some of Paris finest and most creative improvisers and composers. His latest album NY3 featuring Matt Brewer and Colin Stranahan heralded Pilon in the international press as one of the stand-out musicians in Paris.  Pilon’s debut WWR release Colorfield features new music with young stars Walter Smith III, Michael Janisch and Jamire Williams. His partnership with tenor saxophonist David Prez, the David Prez/ Romain Pilon Group, has released two albums to critical acclaim, “…probably one of the most sincere and enthusiastic jazz groups to emerge in France” -Jazzman.
