Jazz Mafia
Jazz Mafia is an eclectic artist collective co-founded in 2000 by trombonist and bassist Adam Theis, based in San Francisco's Mission District. The ensemble unites forward-thinking Bay Area musicians across jazz, hip-hop, electronica, classical, and world music, featuring a collaborative and risk-taking approach that has made it a prolific staple of the San Francisco sound.
