Wayne Escoffery

Grammy Award-winning tenor saxophonist Wayne Escoffery is known for his powerful tone, impressive technique, and versatility. Born in London in 1975, he has performed and recorded with numerous internationally respected musicians including the Tom Harrell Quintet, Mingus Big Band, and Ben Riley's Monk Legacy Septet, while also serving as a Lecturer in Jazz Improvisation at Yale School of Music.
