The Westerlies

The Westerlies is a Grammy-nominated American brass quartet comprising two trumpets and two trombones, formed in 2011 by childhood friends from Seattle. Known for blending jazz, contemporary classical, and folk influences with innovative arrangements and unconventional sonorities, the ensemble has performed at major venues from Carnegie Hall to Coachella and serves as the inaugural small ensemble-in-residence at The New School's School of Jazz and Contemporary Music.
