Award-winning jazz vocalist Tawanda Suessbrich-Joaquim is a first-generation American artist of German and Mozambican heritage, raised in New Mexico. Winner of the 2021 Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Jazz Competition, she released her debut album 'Smile' on Resonance Records in 2022 and has performed internationally with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox and other prestigious ensembles.
