Susana Pineda

Colombian-born vocalist from Medellín who studied in the United States and met guitarist Luis Salcedo at the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley. Together as Opaluna, they create a distinctive blend of jazz with Latin-American sensibilities, drawing from samba, bolero, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms.
