Sruti Sarathy

Sruti Sarathy is a leading Carnatic violinist, singer, and composer based in the Bay Area and Chennai. Known for her soulful sound and imaginative approach to the Indian violin, she blends classical Carnatic tradition with contemporary forms including crossover projects, theater composition, and original works exploring South Asian diasporic experience. A Fulbright Scholar and Stanford graduate, she regularly collaborates with acclaimed Carnatic musicians and has received multiple awards including the Mysore T Chowdiah Memorial Award.
