Sondango

Sondango is a San Francisco-based ensemble led by pianist Richard Nelson Hall and vocalist Sandra Aran, performing original songs in Spanish that blend jazz, Latin rhythms, and contemporary styles including salsa, samba, bolero, and cumbia. Drawing on their roots in Havana, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and London, the group explores themes of love, loss, joy, and passion while celebrating the cultural diversity of the Bay Area.
