Shalamar

Shalamar is an American R&B and soul vocal group created in 1977 by Dick Griffey and Don Cornelius. Originally a disco-driven ensemble, the group's classic lineup of Howard Hewett, Jody Watley, and Jeffrey Daniel became influential dance and soul hitmakers throughout the 1980s, known for their smooth harmonies and trendsetting choreography.
