Sean Jones

Sean Jones is a renowned jazz trumpeter, bandleader, composer, educator, and activist born in Warren, Ohio. After earning his master's degree from Rutgers University, he served as lead trumpeter for the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra (2004-2010) and has since released eight albums as a leader on Mack Avenue Records while maintaining a prominent role in jazz education as the Richard and Elizabeth Case Chair in Jazz Studies at Johns Hopkins University's Peabody Institute.
