Sahba Motallebi

Sahba Motallebi is a virtuoso tar and setar player, composer, and educator who became the first Iranian-American woman to win a Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album with the band Alja at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. A graduate of Tehran's Conservatory of Music and the California Institute of the Arts, she has collaborated with world-renowned artists including Yo-Yo Ma and Rahim AlHaj, and is recognized globally as a master musician and innovative music educator.
