Rico Jones

Rico Jones is a visionary tenor saxophonist, composer, and bandleader from Denver whose debut album BloodLines (Giant Step Arts, 2025) has established him as a rising force in modern jazz. A Manhattan School of Music graduate with mentorship from living legends including George Coleman and Sonny Rollins, Jones combines deep roots in the Black church tradition with explorations of his Latino and Indigenous heritage.
