Richard Giddens

Richard Lloyd Giddens Jr. is the Director of Jazz Studies at Fresno State and an accomplished bassist who studied at The New School for Social Research and California Institute of the Arts under mentors including Charlie Haden. He has performed and recorded internationally with artists including Wadada Leo Smith, Robert Glasper, Mary Halvorson, and Ravi Coltrane, and is a member of the Los Angeles-based band Burning Ghosts.
