Peter Erskine Trio

The Peter Erskine Trio, featuring drummer Peter Erskine, British pianist John Taylor, and Swedish bassist Palle Danielsson, created influential chamber jazz recordings between 1992 and 1997 on ECM Records. Known for their understated interplay and emphasis on collective conversation over solo exhibition, the trio reimagined the piano trio format with compositions blending modernist harmony and impressionist sensibilities.
