Pete Rodriguez

Pete Rodriguez is a jazz trumpeter, vocalist, and percussionist born in 1969 who carries on the Nuyorican salsa tradition of his father, Pete 'El Conde' Rodriguez. He has performed with jazz and Latin music legends including Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, and Eddie Palmieri, and now leads his own ensembles that blend Afro-Cuban jazz with diverse influences from hip-hop and classical music.
