Pedro Rosales

Pedro Rosales is a Peruvian-born percussionist and vocalist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, renowned for his mastery of the cajón and his fierce, energetic playing. Born in Lima, Peru, he discovered his passion for the cajón at age 14 and has spent over two decades as a collaborator and educator in Afro-Peruvian and Latin jazz traditions. In 2009, he founded Proyecto Landó, through which he performs original compositions and preserves the musical traditions of coastal Peru.
