Painted Mandolin

Painted Mandolin is a Santa Cruz-based acoustic quartet dedicated to exploring Jerry Garcia's diverse musical legacy, from bluegrass and jug band traditions to Grateful Dead classics. Led by Joe Craven (Garcia/Grisman Band veteran) alongside founding members Matt Hartle and Larry Graff, the group performs original compositions and imaginative arrangements featuring mandolin, fiddle, guitars, and upright bass.
