Born in Nagano, Japan, Otoe Mori is a saxophonist and clarinetist whose name means 'Blessed with Music.' After performing with the brass pop band Brass Plus in Japan and relocating to the United States in 2003, she has collaborated with numerous artists before joining The Smooth Jazz Alley in 2017, where she contributes her signature warm tone and expressive phrasing to the group's contemporary jazz fusion sound.
