Omar Aran is a jazz drummer and educator based in the Bay Area with over 20 years of experience performing with notable local jazz musicians. He is the founder and executive director of the Bay Area Jazz Mobile, which has presented over 210 free outdoor jazz concerts throughout the Bay Area while supporting fair wages for over 330 local musicians.
