New Orleans Jazz Band

The Original New Orleans Jazz Band was one of the first jazz bands to make recordings in the late 1910s, composed primarily of New Orleans musicians who followed the success of the Original Dixieland Jass Band. Most members were veterans of Papa Jack Laine's groups, and the band recorded for Gennett Records and Okeh Records before being renamed Jimmy Durante's Jazz Band in 1920.
