Nathan Nakadegawa-Lee is a saxophonist, clarinetist, and composer from Oakland, California, and a graduate of the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York. Known for his big, warm tone rooted in classic tenor saxophone tradition, he studied with luminaries including Melissa Aldana, Darius Jones, and Jon Irabagon. He actively supports the creative music community through teaching, composition, and hosting experimental music events in Oakland and New York.
