Marty Eggers

Marty Eggers is a versatile Oakland-based pianist, bassist, and tuba player known for his encyclopedic knowledge of ragtime and early jazz repertoire. He helped found the Sacramento Ragtime Society in 1982 and has performed with numerous West Coast groups including John Gill's San Francisco Jazz Band, the Black Diamond Jazz Band, and the Yerba Buena Stompers, as well as touring nationally with artists such as Butch Thompson and Leon Redbone.
