Marc Bolin

Marc T. Gaspard Bolin is a performer-scholar with nearly three decades of experience as a professional musician, arranger, and educator. A multi-instrumentalist specializing in tuba and trombone, he has collaborated with leading jazz artists including Kamasi Washington and Kenny Burrell, while also working across genres with artists like Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, and Kanye West. He teaches jazz history and ethnomusicology at UCLA and serves as an adjunct professor at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with scholarly interests focused on New Orleans brass band traditions and marginalized narratives in jazz history.
