Kurt Rosenwinkel Trio

Kurt Rosenwinkel is an acclaimed American jazz guitarist, composer, and bandleader born in Philadelphia in 1970. Known for his harmonically rich, rhythmically free style and innovative fusion of jazz with electronics and modern compositional structures, he has been a defining voice in contemporary jazz since the 1990s. A prolific bandleader and sideman with over 150 credits, he founded the independent label Heartcore Records in 2016 and continues to push the boundaries of jazz through his distinctive sonic conception and experimental approach.
