Kokoroko is a London-based ensemble led by trumpeter/vocalist Sheila Maurice-Grey and percussionist Onome Edgeworth, formed in 2014 to celebrate African diaspora music and address diversity in UK jazz and Afrobeat scenes. Their 2018 breakthrough single 'Abusey Junction' became a viral hit with millions of streams, establishing them as key figures in the contemporary London jazz scene. Known for blending Afrobeat, highlife, and jazz with innovative live performances, they released their acclaimed debut album 'Could We Be More' in 2022 and sophomore album 'Tuff Times Never Last' in 2025.
