Keyon Harrold is an American jazz trumpeter, vocalist, songwriter, and producer born in Ferguson, Missouri in 1980. A graduate of The New School's School of Jazz, he emerged as a leading voice of his generation through collaborations with Common, Robert Glasper, and countless hip-hop and R&B artists including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, while maintaining his credentials as a serious jazz improviser mentored by Charles Tolliver.
