Kayvon Gordon

Detroit-born drummer Kayvon Gordon studied at the University of Michigan under Robert Hurst and Benny Green, and was mentored early in his career by legendary trumpeter Marcus Belgrave. He has performed internationally across Europe, Africa, South Asia, and North America, collaborating with notable artists including Joe Lovano, Ravi Coltrane, JD Allen, and Wynton Marsalis.
