Justin Brown

Born in Richmond, California in 1984, Justin Brown is a versatile and highly sought-after drummer known for his work with Ambrose Akinmusire, Thundercat, Flying Lotus, and Esperanza Spalding. A 2012 Thelonious Monk Competition finalist, Brown studied at the Dave Brubeck Institute and moved to New York to pursue jazz, releasing his debut album as leader, NYEUSI, in 2018.
