Junk Parlor is a Bay Area ensemble formed in 2013 by Jason Vanderford (formerly of The Hot Club of San Francisco) that blends Eastern European folk, gypsy jazz, punk, and indie rock into a distinctive "crooner punk" sound. The band's energetic live performances and cinematic storytelling weave together 50s rock, belly dance melodies, and Bohemian influences into moody, poetic compositions.
