Born in Marksville, Louisiana in 1937, Jules Broussard is a saxophonist best known for his work with Carlos Santana and Alice Coltrane in the 1970s. A versatile performer with over three decades of studio and stage experience, he has collaborated with Ray Charles, Boz Scaggs, Van Morrison, and numerous other luminaries, and remains a mainstay of the San Francisco Bay Area jazz scene.
