Jon Krosnick

Jon Krosnick is a jazz drummer and Stanford University professor who has performed professionally for decades. He began formal musical training at age six with piano and nine with drums, studying classical percussion and jazz at the National Music Camp in Interlochen, Michigan. As co-founder and drummer of the contemporary jazz trio Charged Particles, Krosnick blends classical technique with a sensitive, energetic drumming style influenced by Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl, and Steve Gadd.
