Jon Birdsong is a versatile creative musician and composer active in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, known for his innovative work on trumpet, tuba, cello, conch shell, and baroque cornetto. He has performed extensively with artists including Beck, Beth Orton, and Victoria Williams, and is a founding member of the Bay Area horn ensemble Brass Monkey, with a career spanning jazz, experimental, and world music contexts.
