Jon Birdsong is a versatile creative musician and composer based in the San Francisco Bay Area who has worked extensively as a trumpet, tuba, and cornet player across jazz, experimental, and avant-garde music. He is a founding member of the Bay Area horn ensemble Brass Monkey and has performed and toured internationally with artists including Beck, Calexico, and Beth Orton, while also pursuing specialized interests in baroque cornetto and conch shell performance.
