Joey Alexander

Joey Alexander is an Indonesian jazz pianist from Bali who became the first Indonesian musician ever nominated for a Grammy Award. A self-taught prodigy who learned jazz by ear from his father's record collection, Alexander rose to international prominence after performing at Jazz at Lincoln Center at age 10, and has since released multiple albums showcasing his sophisticated improvisational abilities and original compositions.
