Joe Sanders

Joe Sanders is an American jazz bassist born in Milwaukee in 1984 who has established himself as one of the most active and respected musicians in contemporary jazz. Praised by saxophonist Joshua Redman as among "the greats of his generation," Sanders studied under Christian McBride at the Brubeck Institute and has performed and recorded with major jazz artists including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Charles Lloyd, and Joshua Redman. Based in southern France, he is both a sought-after session and touring musician and a bandleader with multiple acclaimed albums.
