Joe Block

Joe Block is an award-winning pianist, composer, and bandleader from Philadelphia who studied at the Columbia–Juilliard dual-degree program. Recognized by Jazz at Lincoln Center as one of "jazz's most promising young composers," he performs with Wynton Marsalis, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and other leading jazz artists, and leads his own ensembles including the Joe Block Quintet and Open Heart Trio.
