Jim Witzel

Jim Witzel is a San Francisco Bay Area-based guitarist, composer, and educator who has been a mainstay of the Northern California jazz scene. Known for his warmth, precise technique, and tasteful approach to melody and improvisation, he leads both organ and acoustic quartets and serves as Professor of Jazz Guitar Studies at Santa Clara University.
