Born in Oakdale, New York on November 3, 1977, Jane Monheit is an acclaimed jazz vocalist blessed with what the New York Times calls "a voice of phenomenal beauty." A Manhattan School of Music graduate and runner-up in the 1998 Thelonious Monk Competition, she has established herself as one of today's premier interpreters of the Great American Songbook, recording over a dozen albums and performing at iconic venues worldwide including Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
