James Gallagher is an American jazz drummer and educator from Northern California currently based in Manhattan. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, he is a resident performer at the prestigious SFJazz Center and has performed at renowned venues including Yoshi's, the Monterey Jazz Festival, Smalls, and Mezzrow, collaborating with artists such as Mike Ledonne, David Hazeltine, and Grant Stewart.
