Isaiah Sharkey is a Chicago-born guitarist, singer-songwriter, and producer who won a Grammy Award for his work on D'Angelo's 2014 album Black Messiah. A former child prodigy who began playing jazz and blues in Chicago clubs at age 14, Sharkey has become a prolific session musician and sideman for artists including John Mayer, Paul Simon, Patti LaBelle, and Keith Urban, while also releasing acclaimed solo albums that fuse jazz, R&B, gospel, blues, rock, and funk.
