Igor Souza

Igor Souza is a Brazilian 7-string guitarist, arranger, producer, and educator from Rio de Janeiro. Known as the "7-String Guitar Phenomenon of Brazil," he holds master's and bachelor's degrees in music education from UNIRIO and has performed with prominent artists including Xande de Pilares, Esperanza Spalding, and in Rio's Carnival samba schools since 2016. A sought-after studio musician, he has contributed to TV Globo soundtracks and collaborates on contemporary Brazilian instrumental projects.
