Ian Dogole is a multipercussionist, bandleader, and composer who has spent over 40 years creating global fusion music that blends jazz improvisation with indigenous musical traditions from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1978, Dogole has led various ensembles including Ancient Future and Hemispheres, recording nine albums while also serving as an active music educator.
