Sarah Hanahan is a rising alto saxophonist based in New York City. A graduate of the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the Hartt School of Music (BM 2019) and The Juilliard School (MM 2022), she has performed and toured with renowned musicians including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Joe Farnsworth, the Grammy award-winning Mingus Big Band, and was featured in NPR's Jazz Night in America Youngbloods series. Her debut album, Among Giants, released in 2024 on Blue Engine Records, features Marc Cary, Nat Reeves, and Jeff 'Tain' Watts.
