Dr. Greg Johnson is a prolific saxophonist, composer, and clinician recognized as an important voice in contemporary jazz. With over 50 mainstream recordings and twelve albums as a leader, his distinctive saxophone sound and compositional style span multiple genres including jazz, classical, and popular music. Currently Assistant Director of Jazz Studies at Sacramento State University and Director of the Reno Jazz Orchestra, Johnson's recent work has earned six GRAMMY nominations.
